In the beginning of May every other year, OCEANetwork hosts an "Apple Pie Day" at the Oregon state capital. It is a great time where homeschoolers from all across the state travel to Salem with home-baked apple pies (Mmmm...) to present to their Senators and Representatives. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day.
Pies galore and more! LOL!(I used an off-camera flash just outside the picture to the left.)
The Rotunda(An off-camera flash in the lower left helped light the rotunda.)
During the rally at noon we got to hear the choir which featured homeschool students from across the state.(I had just bought a second flash the day before for wireless off-camera lighting. My new flash got a touch too much moisture and... Anyway, Canon fixed it for me.)
A capital tour stops at the State Seal of Oregon. The seal is smack dab in the middle of the rotunda.
