In the beginning of May every other year, OCEANetwork hosts an "Apple Pie Day" at the Oregon state capital. It is a great time where homeschoolers from all across the state travel to Salem with home-baked apple pies (Mmmm...) to present to their Senators and Representatives. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day.

The Rotunda(An off-camera flash in the lower left helped light the rotunda.)
During the rally at noon we got to hear the choir which featured homeschool students from across the state.
A "color guard" marched during the rally. The "soldier" in the foreground was the leader.
We also had some speakers...
...and it started to rain!(I had just bought a second flash the day before for wireless off-camera lighting. My new flash got a touch too much moisture and... Anyway, Canon fixed it for me.)
A capital tour stops at the State Seal of Oregon. The seal is smack dab in the middle of the rotunda.
We had a capital time! :-)
